That makes this page less about counting itself (most children this age are still building up to 20, so 30 is a real stretch) and more about sustained attention: finding each next number in sequence among thirty closely spaced labels without losing the thread.   Best for a child around 5-6 who already finishes the 1-to-20 dot-to-dot easily and wants more of a challenge, not a starting point for the format — children still learning to count to 20 should use the 1-to-10 or 1-to-20 sheets in this same set first.

• How to run it

  Print one copy and let them work through it independently — part of the challenge is finding each number among thirty labels without help. Ten to fifteen minutes is typical. If a line goes to the wrong dot partway through, encourage them to keep going rather than erasing — a wrong turn near dot 22 is still useful practice, and the shape distortion it causes is itself an interesting thing to talk about afterward.
