Future Untapped is run by [LEGAL_NAME_AND_COUNTRY]. This policy explains what we collect on futureuntapped.com, why, and what you can do about it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

The short version

We ask for one thing: an email address, and only if you want us to send you a free printable. We store it on our own server. We do not sell it, we do not share it with advertisers, and you can have it deleted by sending one email.

Who this site is for

Future Untapped makes books, printables and stories for children. The website is written for parents, teachers and caregivers — not for children to use directly. Every form on this site asks for an adult's email address, and we ask that only adults submit one.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. We never ask a child for their name, age, photograph, location or contact details, and there is nowhere on this site for a child to create an account, post a comment, or upload anything. If you believe a child has given us their email address, contact us at hello@futureuntapped.com and we will delete it.

What we collect

When you ask for a free printable, we collect:

  • Your email address.
  • Which printable you asked for, and where you came from — for example, whether you arrived from Pinterest, from a QR code in one of our books, or from a page on this site.
  • The date and time you asked.

That is the entire list. We do not ask for your name, your address, your child's name or age, or anything else.

When you simply read the site, our web server keeps standard access logs, which include your IP address, the page requested, and your browser's user-agent string. These are the ordinary technical logs every web server produces; we use them to keep the site running and to investigate abuse, and they are deleted on a rolling basis.

We also briefly hold your IP address in memory — not in our database — to stop automated systems from flooding the signup form. It is not written down and not linked to your email address.

What we do not collect

  • We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party advertising networks.
  • We do not build profiles, and we do not run behavioural advertising.
  • We do not collect payment information. Anything you buy from us is bought on Etsy or Amazon, under their own policies — we never see your card details.

Email

If you give us your email address, we store it so we can send you the printable you asked for once it's ready. We do not currently send anything else — no newsletter, no promotional series — because we have not connected an email-sending tool yet.

When we do start sending anything beyond the printable you originally asked for, we will use a proper email service provider to do it, we will name that provider here, and every message will carry a one-click unsubscribe link that works immediately. Until then, the only email you will get from us is the one thing you asked for.

You can ask us to delete your address at any time — see "Getting your details removed" below.

Where your data is stored

On a private server we operate in [SERVER_COUNTRY], in a database that is not reachable from the internet. It is not a shared third-party mailing-list platform, and no advertising company has access to it. Once we connect an email service provider (see "Email" above), this section will be updated to note where they process data and under what safeguards.

How long we keep it

Your email address is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, and is then removed. Server access logs are kept only briefly and then rotated away.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

  • Tell you what we hold about you
  • Correct it
  • Delete it
  • Send you a copy of it
  • Stop using it for marketing

Write to hello@futureuntapped.com and we will do it. There is no charge and no form to fill in. We will respond within 30 days, usually much sooner.

If you are in the EU or UK, our lawful basis for holding your email address is your consent, given when you asked for the printable, and you may withdraw it at any time. If you are in California, we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA, and we have not done so in the preceding twelve months.

Links to other sites

Our books, printables and pages link out to Etsy, Amazon and Pinterest. Once you follow a link there, you are on their site under their privacy policy, not ours. We have no control over what they collect.

Changes to this policy

If we change it, we will update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use your email address, we will tell subscribers by email before it takes effect.
