  This one-page sampler puts every letter pair, Aa through Zz, on a single sheet instead of the full 26-page book's one-page-per-letter format — useful for a child who is ready to connect a capital letter to its lowercase partner rather than practicing the two forms separately. Seeing both forms side by side on every letter, all the way down one page, makes the pairing itself the point: a capital and its lowercase partner often look nothing alike (compare Aa or Rr to Ee or Oo), and a page built around pairs rather than one alphabet case at a time is what actually rehearses matching them. A parent or teacher scanning one finished page can also see at a glance which specific pairs still give a child trouble, without paging through a full book to find them.

• ② Ready when

  A child who can already trace the capital and lowercase alphabets separately with reasonable control is ready for this page — it assumes both forms are individually familiar and focuses on connecting them, not on first letter formation. This usually comes after, not before, the separate capital and lowercase quick sheets in this same set.

• ③ How to run it

  Print one copy. Go left to right, top to bottom, saying the capital name and then ‘and its little letter’ for each pair as they trace it — the naming is what reinforces the connection, not just the tracing motion. Five to ten minutes covers the page. If a specific pair (like Qq or Gg) consistently gives trouble, that's worth a few extra repetitions on scrap paper before moving on, rather than skipping ahead. Both UK (A4) and US (Letter) paper sizes print from the same download. Works well as a short assessment page after a child has been through both the separate capital and lowercase books, to check the pairing itself has landed and not just each form on its own.
