How to use this
What it builds
Spelling and careful scanning: checking letter by letter instead of guessing. Themed word lists (animals, food, space, colours, weather) keep the words familiar.
Ready when
A child who can read short, familiar words, usually from about 7 years old. Tapping the first and last letter is available for small fingers.
How to run it
A grown-up sets the child's age once; the game starts at a suitable level. Ask: what letter does it start with? Can you find all of those first? Afterwards ask which word was hardest to find and why.
