A small star · they/them
Sprinkle
Hidden on every page. Go on — find them.
Sprinkle is a little five-pointed star who never says a word. They turn up on every single page of every book and every activity sheet, tucked somewhere you have to look twice for — behind a jar, under a stool, up in the rafters. Finding Sprinkle is the game, and it is the same game whether you are reading, colouring or watching.

- Being found
Sprinkle is a little five-pointed star with a soft gold glow. They have no detailed face — just sparkle, brightness, and the way they seem to giggle when you finally spot them. They never say a word. Not a hello, not a hint, not a whisper. Sprinkle communicates by glowing brighter when found and bouncing once, shyly, when you almost missed them.
They turn up on every page of every book and every activity sheet, tucked somewhere you have to look twice for: behind a jar, under a stool, up in the rafters, half-hidden by flour dust. Keyo sometimes asks whether you can find Sprinkle before Mia does. That is the game — and the spot is new each time, so old eagle eyes still have to look again.
It is the same game whether you are reading, coloring, or watching. Sprinkle is not food — not the rainbow sprinkles on a cookie. Those are edible. Sprinkle is their own character, silent, seekable, and always worth the second look. When they dim shyly, they are not sad — they are waiting for you to try once more. Happy bounce and sparkle trail are the only applause they need.
In the bakery
Sprinkle does not mix or sweep or taste. They hide — that is their whole job in the Magical Bakery. While the crew handles chaos, Sprinkle picks a new spot and waits. They are thumb-sized and easy to overlook on purpose. The bakery feels more alive knowing Sprinkle is somewhere in the rafters, watching without speaking, ready to glow when a sharp-eyed child points and says, "There!" Keyo and Sprinkle are partners in the challenge — one asks, one hides, neither cheats. Being found is what Sprinkle loves.
For grown-ups
Sprinkle turns every page into active looking — great for building focus without a quiz. Use them/them consistently; Sprinkle is never gendered. At home, play "find the star" while tidying: hide a paper star and let your child lead the search. The skill transfers: slow down, scan, celebrate the find. Sprinkle also teaches that some friends express care without words — presence is enough.
Colour Sprinkle in
Sprinkle hides in the coloring pack too — can you spot them before you finish Keyo's page?
