Never hurries, never panics, never spoils the ending.

Grandpa Oliver has been baking longer than anyone in Rainbow Village and has never once raised his voice about it. He explains things in cooking, because that is how he thinks: too much of one thing, not enough of another, needs longer than you'd like. He knows more about Keyo's keyhole than he says early on, and he lets the children find things out at their own speed.
